“A journey from darkness to light, offering a sanctuary for the soul.”

— Katrin Grosspeter, art critic

Ars Gratia Artis | Munich - 2025

From April 3 to 6, 2025, the Artology Gallery, in collaboration with the Karl & Faber Auction House, presented Ars Gratia Artis in Munich — a collective exhibition bringing together 28 artists and over 100 works to celebrate the essence of creativity across art, design, and craftsmanship.

Marie-Amélie Chéreau exhibited La Roseraie and Évanescence, two oil-on-linen paintings from Les Silencieuses series. In both works, the fine brush-line structures are less about geometry than about mapping an inner journey — an intimate architecture of light and silence. Through her layered and precise approach, the artist invites viewers into a space where focus and stillness reveal unexpected emotional depth. Each line holds the quiet discipline of calligraphy while allowing the natural flow of emotion to emerge, tracing not only form but also the silent landscapes of the soul.
